You are welcome to start higher studies in the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Medical University in Warsaw! We offer education in the following fields:

Important!

Citizens of an EU member state can study free of charge on full-time studies in Polish as Polish citizens or foreigners.

Foreigners admitted to studies in Polish in the recruitment process pursuant to rules binding for Polish citizens, may apply for financial assistance benefits in the Medical University in Warsaw.

It is possible to pay for the course of Polish in the Department of Foreign Languages of WUM.

The following persons are authorised to study according to principles applicable to Polish citizens:

  • foreigners being holders of a valid Polish Card;
  • foreigners who have been granted a permanent stay permit;
  • foreigners with a refugee status conferred in the Republic of Poland;
  • foreigners benefitting from temporary protection on the territory of the Republic of Poland;
  • migrating employees being citizens of European Union member states (EU), the Swiss Confederation or member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), as well as members of their families if they reside on the territory of the Republic of Poland;
  • citizens of Member States of the European Union, member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA) or the Swiss Confederation and members of their families granted the permanent stay permit;
  • foreigners who have been granted on the territory of the Republic of Poland a stay permit of long-term resident of the European Union;
  • foreigners who have been granted on the territory of the Republic of Poland a permit for temporary stay in connection with circumstances specified in Article 127, Article 159 par. 1 or Article 186 par. 1 item 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners (Polish Journal of Laws/Dz.U. item 1650);
  • foreigners who have been granted supplementary protection on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
